BI/ETL Engineer (Kiev)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute ETL workflows to move data into and out of the data warehouse from a variety of sources, including other databases, flat files. Maintain existing ETL workflows (making changes, enhancements and bug fixes).
- Performing data discovery and analysis to model and bring in new data sources into the Data Warehouse
- Coordinates and executes daily updates of data warehouse and independently resolves loading and extraction problems.
- Assists in resolving data-related problems.
- Develops, implements, and executes a Data Quality process for all ETL activities. Performs regular data consistency, quality and reliability checks.
- Identifies and evaluates multiple ETL implementation alternatives (Identify and implement industry best practices)
- Mentor other team members.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining tables (dimensions and facts) in the Data Warehouse
- Designs Data Models. Contributes to the overall design and implementation of the data warehouse. Participates in all data warehouse planning and execution.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, MBA preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in Data Integration / Data Warehousing / Data Modeling / Business Intelligence.
- 2-5 years experience in designing and constructing data warehouse (Star Schema / Snowflake Schema).
- 5+ years of experience in Java and MySQL (At least 2 years of experience using those languages for Data Integration and Data Warehouse purpose).
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Java API development.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of RDBMS, Business Intelligence, Data Integration, Data Warehouse, Enterprise Applications.
